Cork City Airport, Ireland.

The professionals said: “this site is unsuitable

for an airport”. Cork replied: “fuck you, we’ll

build it here anyway”.

The site on which this Irish airport was constructed is an example of extreme Irish stupidity and backwardness. In the 1960’s when an airport to service Cork city was proposed a number of sites were put forward. The main contender – and the one eventually chosen – was a site at Ballygarvan just outside Cork city.
The Irish (being world famous for doing things rationally!) hired a foreign aviation company that specialised in assessing proposed airport sites for safety of operation. This company duly assessed the site in Ballygarvan and found it to be totally unsuitable. The main reason for its incompatibility was its elevated position which meant it had a propensity to be shrouded in mist, fog and low cloud – a height which even in good weather made visibility extremely poor.
Thus the safety appraisers pointed out to the Irish that their chosen site was unsafe and dangerous and advised that the airport be located elsewhere. But the Irish ignored this advice and went ahead and constructed the airport on this rejected site anyway – a spot that was only fit for grazing sheep and goats.

Six people were killed in this plane crash.
The reason they did this was because a bigwig, and his cronies, in the south-west of Ireland had a financial interest in this cloud-covered piece of land. And these backward people had no qualms about putting lives at risk in order to make some easy money. It's outrageous that these dirty bastards would put a mediocre amount of profit ahead of people's lives.
Considering this was the 1960’s, when aircraft safety instrumentation was in its infancy, it was an outrageous and criminal decision to build an airport on this cloud covered hilltop. Not even in time of war would combatants construct an airport in such an atrociously bad position. Even today with improved safety features I’ve no doubt that pilots and passengers would much prefer to be landing in conscientiously built airports where landing visibility is apt to be at normal levels.
The results of the south-western Irish people's greed came home to roost on February 10, 2011 when many people were killed in an aircraft which crashed into the ground after having made three attempts to land in dense low-cloud.

This tragic loss of life shows that the scum who make political and infrastructural decisions in Cork are little more than criminals, and a whole lot more than imbecilesthat's the Pict for you, an insane greed for easy money no matter what it costs other people.
Another thing that's disgusting and dangerous about the south-west of Ireland is that, apart from the easy money, the natives would have also got-a-kick out of defying the safety specialists. Even though they voluntary brought in the site assessors the Cork natives would have resented being told their choice of site was unsuitable – a childish mentality that's easily observable throughout the population in south-west Ireland. The Picts know subconsciously that they're subnormal and this manifests by bubbling to the surface when it's pointed out they've made a mistake or bad decision.

Jackie and Michael Healy-Rae. South-west Ireland’s wideboy political dynasty.
And, like typical morons, they could well have perceived the site's assessors to have slighted them, and got revenge by defying their professional advice. If you find this hard to believe then you should live with these inbred bastards for a couple of years and you'll find they have a way of thinking and doing things that would make chimpanzees look positively intelligent.
After a few months of residing in Cork or Kerry and enduring their gombeen backwardness you'll be shocked at the baseness that the human being can descend to. The mentally abnormal bastards in this part of Ireland are driven in a similar way as the half-witted school-yard bully. They have to get-one-over on others in attempt to prove they’re not the backward stupid bastards that they subconsciously know themselves to be. What makes them so dangerous and unlikable is that their debauchery isn't always financially based: they'll attempt to get-one-over or belittle others just for the sheer pleasure it brings (an encephalic release of feel-good chemicals).

I’d strongly advise people to give this airport a wide berth. Life is short enough and air disasters are making the news every other week; cut the odds of you being relayed as a statistic on Sky News and don't use an airport that's been built by morons in a cloud enveloped location.

Nigel Farage knows the backwardness of which I speak.
